NEWS - REFUSE COLLECTION IN BAD WEATHER Bin collections - advice in bad weather
Stroud District Council has issued a reminder to residents that bad weather this winter, may at times result in the suspension of the scheduled refuse, recycling and bulky waste collections.
In the event of collections being temporarily cancelled due to for example heavy snowfall, residents are advised to stick to the following advice:
If possible take your waste back into your property and present on the next scheduled collection day
Where it is not possible to store waste for another week, please leave your waste on the grounds of your property, somewhere visible where the crews can see it
Updates on the progress of waste services during bad weather will be displayed at www.stroud.gov.uk and covered by local media.
