Leonard Stanley Parish Council were delighted to welcome a large crowd at their Community Information Day on 19th January 2008. Residents chatted to Parish, District and County Councillors, MP David Drew, local PCSO Debbie Flay and representatives from many service providers such as Warm and Well, Neighbourhood Watch, CAB and Stroud District Access Group. WI members were kept busy organising the free refreshments with their usual cheerful efficiency and everyone went home with a lot of useful information about the different people who are there to help. Feedback gathered at the event will be used as part of the public consultation required for the forthcoming update of the village's Parish Plan. The event was so successful that it will hopefully become a regular fixture in the village |
