NEWS - St. SWITHUN's FLOWER FESTIVAL

A very successful Flower Festival took place at St. Swithun's Church over the Whitsun Bank Holiday in May. The village Church's year was depicted in beautiful floral arrangements and included the major Christian festivals and local village societies.   We would like to thank the many people who helped and supported us with the various fundraising events which enabled the flower festival to take place and the continued support of those people during the flower festival itself.   Lots of visitors went on for refreshments at the Village Hall and were very appreciative of the warm welcome they received.   The visitor book, with an album of photographs will be displayed in St. Swithun's Church in the future.   Meanwhile...... click the thumbnail pictures below to enlarge them.
