NEWS - SDC CORE STRATEGY |

Stroud District Council are
having a public consultation on the Core Strategy, they have
proposed 7 alternative ways of dealing where houses should be
built and new jobs created. This will cover the development of
the district until the year 2026, several of the proposed
alternatives could see houses built within the village. There is a
public exhibition being held at Stonehouse Town Hall on Wednesday
24th February 3pm - 7 pm, and/or visit their website at
www.stroud.gov.uk/core
also check out the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment
on their website, which identifies potential areas in our Parish
for development . The Parish Council will be discussing their
response to the Core Strategy at their next meeting on Tuesday 2nd
March 2010 at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, the public are welcome
to come and share their views and /or email the Clerk on
